Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Whether through fundraising or hands-on activities, SCI Kiwanians strive to serve children in their community as do all Kiwanians worldwide.

The Kiwanis Club of South Central Indiana began hosting the Indiana Balloon Fest in 2013. Proceeds from the event benefit Riley Children’s Hospital; the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington; the B.U.G. (Bringing Up Grades) programs at Fairview and Templeton elementary; among other Kiwanis service projects in the region.

Other service leadership clubs in the Kiwanis family are active in the Bloomington community:

  • K-Kids at University Elementary
  • Builders Club at Jackson Creek Elementary
  • Bloomington Key Club and Edgewood HS Key Club
  • Circle K at IU
  • Aktion Club at LifeDesigns
  • Bloomington Kiwanis Club

We welcome new members any time of the year. A good way to see if Kiwanis membership is for you is to participate in one of our service projects or join us for our monthly social hour. We love to meet new people!

April 11, 2016, our club celebrated its 10th anniversary. We look forward to another 10 years of service and fellowship in South Central Indiana.
